This year marks the 30th anniversary of The Cult’s Sonic Temple album, and the band have now announced plans to mark the milestone by reissuing the 1989 classic. The Cult: Sonic Temple 30 will be released in four different formats on September 13.
In addition to digital and 2xLP formats, Sonic Temple 30 will arrive as a deluxe box set and a five-CD set. Limited to 3,000 copies, the deluxe box features the original album and the band’s 1989 Live at Wembley across three vinyl records, a cassette of limited-release demos, and replica tour memorabilia and ephemera.
The five-CD set features 53 total tracks, featuring the original album, Live at Wembley set and limited-release demos alongside a number of alternate edits, mixes, extended versions and acoustic versions.
